The forum provides a unique opportunity to learn more about the EU Scholarship Programme for Cypriot Youth at UWC and to experience the power of education as a tool for peace and sustainability.

The forum will explore pressing issues and solutions along three thematic tracks:

• Youth in peacebuilding: explore the vital role of youth in fostering peace and driving change in Cyprus and the neighbouring region. Be inspired by stories of young peacebuilders and learn how EU programme scholars and UWC students are equipped as change-makers.

• Education in changemaking: discover how education drives peace and change. Explore its impact in confict and post-conflict settings, reimagine high school education with youth input and uncover empowering pedagogical practices. Experience student leadership and reflection, with a peek into the EU-UWC scholarship programme.

• EU’s role in fostering peace: explore the crucial role of the EU in peacebuilding and changemaking. Discover how the EU supports peace processes, particularly through funded projects in Cyprus, and meet with civil society organisations (CSOs). The workshops will allow participants to gain valuable insights into EU initiatives towards a more peaceful and sustainable Europe.
