About the Forum

As part of the EU Scholarship Programme for Cypriot Youth at UWC, United World Colleges (UWC) is organising the United for Peace EU-UWC youth leadership forum in collaboration with the European Commission. The forum will gather over 200 participants, UWC students, Cypriot high-school students, staff and alumni, educators, civil society and other stakeholders from Cyprus. Join us to discover and experience the transformative power of education to promote peace!

In their first ever joint study trip, 17 EU high school students from the Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot communities studying at the United World Colleges (UWC) in Germany and in the Netherlands are visiting Brussels on 13 and 14 March to learn about the EU institutions, policies and programmes.

Through a new EU-funded agreement of € 1.5 million, with the United World Colleges, 18 new scholars will have the chance to attend the International Baccalaureate diploma programme at UWC schools in Europe (UWC Adriatic, UWC Maastricht, UWC Mostar, and UWC Robert Bosch College).
